The Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers (MODL) has been the professional home for Missouri’s civil defense bar since 1984. The organization provides continuing legal education, hosts the annual John L. Oliver, Jr. Trial Academy at MU School of Law, files amicus curiae briefs, and runs regional networking events across the state.
